As long as it isn't a too dark one I'm happy ... thanks mate.

Top class crisp scenics again mate and I`m curious...would this be a one day hiking trip for you or a camping weekend away perhaps?
Also, how much approx does the Hoya filter you`re using cost?

It was just a one day trip ... I was at the cable car at about 9am and back at my car at about 4pm. I'm planning on doing over-night-trips in the future cause I'm sick of all my mid-day-images.
For the Hoya filters I can only tell you how much they are here in Austria. They starts as low as 30 euros for a diameter of 49mm. On my 17-40mm lens I have a diameter of 77mm - the filter for that size already costs about 65 euros. They are quite a bit cheaper than the B+W filters though.

A polarizer is a must have for any landscape or architecture photographer ... just make sure it's a circular polarizer. And yeah - I'd love to do some overnight hiking. I hate it to descent from the mountain before the sun goes down.

If you're into serious landscape photography ... yes.

I know. It's just funny when photographers think that pictures are only good when they obey rules, lol.
