A Focke Wulf FW- 200C Condor?
The colors are close to those of the RLM, but Both Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine aircraft had a Swastika on their vertical stabilizers, not Balkenkreuz.
Otherwise, splendid work.

The Fw-200 Had 4 engines and a cockpit that was not elevated.

I think I've got it.
Late-war Ju-88 (with a squared tail and single-piece glazed nose) I noticed that this is just a 2 engine aircraft and those engines look very much like what later Fw-190s and Ju-88's used.

This is a Flying Fortress.
The German Luftwaffe never had long range bombers
Thank God the nazis didn't have on of these babies, or else we would be speaking German right now...

1st. It's not a B-17 Because that also had 4 engines and it clearly has German/Nazi markings
2nd. What about the He-111? Or the FW200?

Those weren't capable of long distance flight.

MrEnderz In reply to EvilGermanTier [2016-03-17 03:02:25 +0000 UTC]
To fly long distances economically, the Fw 200 was designed to cruise at an altitude of over 3,000 m (9,800 ft) - as high as possible without a pressure cabin.
The HE-111 was a medium ranged bomber, but in rare cases they added extra fuel tanks to the wings so it was capable of flying for a longer period of time.
B-17's were heavy bombers and was capable of very long distance travel with a full load, but when it has no extra weight added on, it's one of the most long range bombers of it's time (Not the very best, remember that).

Focke Wulfe had built the Condor bomber,it's just that the Germans limit was to France and the British were determined not to give in to the Nazis. The German Air Force did have bombers in their inventory, they just weren't as effective in use the Allies.

Wow. WOW !!
Thanks a lot !
Didn't know a bit about this.

long range bomber for the German would have made a big difference in bombing the UK .

Or the U.S West Coast
I heard a thing the other day in a documentary, some German soldier was taken prisoner and he asked the American troops
"How's New York? Is it still in flaming ruins?"
The Propaganda Machine got them believing that American cities were burning just like Hamburg, Dresden or Berlin were, at that time.

and the reason german didnt produce long range bomber is because Hitler didn't believe in long range bomber capability .

are you sure? that sounds kind of far fetched since the Americans were already bombing the hell out of Europe and Japan with their bombers...

the air raid over britain by the german were made be medium and light size bomber like heinkel bomber , I am not talking about the allies here , I am talking about the AXIS. Do some research on the luftwaffe if you dont believe me.

im not arguing with you, im just saying.. the allies were putting long distance bombing to good use, so i dont see why the germans didnt delve into it abit more...which apparently they were...they were planning to bomb the US with their new line of jet planes, but they *unfortuantely* lost the war.

pretty nice pic. I don't want to sound rude, but this looks like a B-17 Bomber used by the US and the Royal Air during the end of WWII, so there is no possibility, that this is a Nazi-Plane... BUT, this one has just 2 engines, instead of four, so never mind ^_^' I'ts a cool picture though.

During WWII, Allied ships, especially American ships, were notoriously dangerous to approach by air, due to special guns and ammo they used.
Very nice.

But GREAT none the less!!!
