Yes, but cats who are just treated like "cats" never appear to develop an outward strong personality. They have to have a human who believes they are capable of displaying a strong personality to have one. I've had more doggy people who don't like cats tell me they'd have a cat if it was like one of mine. I always tell them that they won't get one unless they also treat cats like I do!
