Description
In the animated series Avengers Earths mightiest Heroes, the kree were an alien race that was determined to conquer the known galaxy and make any technological advancements they could to make the ultimate weapons. Under the leadership of the supreme intelligence, the kree would conquer almost every inhabited world, but would come into conflict with another advanced race of alien shape shifters known as the Skrull, leading to a centuries old war. Determined to defeat their ancient enemies, the kree start genetic engineering to create living weapons, upon discovering planet earth, the kree realized that human beings had the perfect genetic make up to tamper with, kidnapping many test subjects. Eventually the kree decided to come for earth, sending their robotic sentry to destroy its defenses, eventually being defeated by the avengers. To counteract this, Ronan the accuser was sent to start the kree invasion, also being defeated by the avengers. Deciding that earth is not worth the trouble, the kree eventually decided to destroy earths sun by creating a wormhole that would be used for their hyperspace travel. The avengers stopped this attempt as well and traveled to the kree home world through the worm hole to end the kree threat once and for all.

The only kree warrior that was sympathetic to earth was Marv-ell, a kree scientist that secretly came to earth to study humans for conservation reasons. During his undercover work he met and fell in love with an American Airforce pilot named Carol Danvers. When his cover was blown by the arrival of the sentry, marvell attempted to protect carol from the energy blast of the sentry, causing an energy surge from himself to carol, causing her to gain kree energy powers. Realizing the threat of the kree empire, marvell attempted to bargain with them to no avail and eventually defected to the avenger's side and helped in the destruction of the supreme intelligence, taking over as the new leader of the empire and deciding to lead them into a pacifist way of life. Carol danvers used her newfound powers to become the superhero known as Ms. Marvel, being inspired by marv-ell's actions and taking his name as her own, becoming one of the greatest avengers.
