Description Chemistry is like art. Get things both ways. With chemistry can change the order of the atoms and create realities that did not exist "science that creates its own object! a kind of tribute to Antoine Lavoisier

Ok, Comments lost three times.  Gotta learn this system - or blame my Fedora 20 Operating System.

1). I disagree with carissa7335 - your contrast is 100, you go from White to Black.  IMHO, as a former "wet" photographer for a newspaper - putty rubber will DECREASE the contrast.  What do I know? I AM a mathematician - and a mathemagitian with primes - an art form not related to yours.

2). Don't screw with the contrast - perfection can not be improved.

3). "Walter's" eyes are GREEN, till you look close, they ARE B&W

4). I KNEW "Walter" - at the time Walmart sold pseudoephdrin in bottles of 100, the more you bought, the better customer you were.  Bottles of 100 for EQ of 2 Colones.  Just remove an oxygen from each molecule and you have...Methamphetamine.  "Scientific supplies"  department at University was open to public, and never a question asked.  My "Walter" used Thyonil Chloride and Platinum covered activated carbon - today they use Anhydrous Ammonia and Lithium (from batteries) - but in most states you must sign for small quantities of pseudoephedrin.  Ahh, the good old days of freedom and cash at examination time.  MY "Walter" was a lot friendlier and would not have made a good art object - the statutes of limitations are up, and, oh, he died anyways - NOT drug related, or cancer.

So there, Andres - a little less oxygen = a lot more drug!  Reduction, it is called.  Chemistry as art.  Buy Cold Medicine and convert to cash - oh that's magic, not art.  [Remember in series his former student had "Smurfs" that would buy small quantities of Pseudo?]  Probably even THAT won't work today, BUT home made Pseudo is around - and it makes BLUE SPEED, Baby.  Not much yet. [Turn up Baby Blue by Badfinger, please]

Great Work  ...cm

hello Boss (or -exboss doesn't matter for me) thank you so much for the comment, means much to me,(don't blame your Fedora its the quintessence of Free operating system) about the contrast I can improve it every time and every time more, you can see my progress in the last drawings I did,I know perfection can not be improved but the simple fact that can't be improve is what worries me to try, what can I do? I'm a perfectionist, I guess that perfectionist is my "Walter" trying to have the purest methamphetamine, art is like mathematics, like numbers are infinite when I finish a drawing I see it and say: Damn it is not what imagined I could do,I can do better!!! it's a process that never ends, and I know about the use of Anhydrous Ammonia or other synthesis like If you do react a tioxilo clorido ephedrine with the OH is replaced with Cl to produce N-metil.alfa- chloroamphetamine as intermediary. Hydrogenated product is easy: use lytic aluminum hydride, sodium borohydride, or even hydrogen gas with nickel or platinum metal catalyst. The product of this step is N-methylamphetamine and HCl. Let the water evaporate and you will have methamphetamine hydrochloride. anyway, the difference between Chemistry and Art is one give you money!!! ahhhh I had already heard before Baby Blue and Badfinger but when I heard at the end of the show,!man!!!that was trutly awesome!! thanks again Boss

Hello, my snake charmer.  We are now in possession of Henry, the Boa - he lives in the garage and "Bodega" - we have Mangos and almost no squirrels.  Henry comes to his name and likes to be scratched under his chin.  Hobbit and I have an "agreement" that Henry will take a long car ride when he is big enough to swallow Marty the gifted Chiwawa/mutt mix.  I think the point has passed - AND I think he has a sense of "family".  Henry suns himself in front of the garage.  We watch TV in a room with two small dogs and a parrot and a tiny, blind, parakeet.  I want Henry on my lap at the same time - wife unit (Hobbit) does not want him in the house - I have news for her - he has been in the house many times.  Never with permission, but he enters via garage door and always heads to the laundry room (where the mice get in).  He knows our dogs (by smell) and they know him by sight and smell - a long (1.25 Meters) stretched out along the garage door is NOT something either will ignore.  One day I gave him hand signals and said SHOO-GO get out of the garage.  I am doing careful (artistic?) work on electronics and Henry wraps around my leg, trembling, looking me in the eye.  "OK, Henry, you can stay."  He uncurls and silently goes back to his "Rincon" of a junkyard of old computers, keyboards - you know the place.  I never touch him without permission, then only under the chin.  I need to get him on my lap during "family" time in the TV room - if he shows no dietary interest in our other pets - well he is a new pet, a useful one.

I did not want to get into chemical detail - // N-metil.alf chloraamphetamine// WAS known as non-drug useless chemical with the common name of chlorpseudoefephedrine.  AT THAT TIME it had no more classification than dirt, probably less.  A police raid of my "Walter" netted 2 pounds of it, police took it, and - next day - he was at police station demanding return of property - and got it - the cops were so scared of him they just gave him the entire "Evidence Box" (that included a Bong and some Cannabis).  Sometimes people just did not understand why, in those USA days, they were referred to as "Chanchos" - if you know what I mean.

The "problem" (today) is not any other chemical other than ephedrine - which requires Rx and in most states, a signature in the Narcotics Registry.  Ephedrine is WIDELY available in the Western USA!!! (and I am certain other places of transplant).  It is a common weed.  In Utah (the Mormon Empire) -  Mormons are not allowed coffee;  but they drink this common weed, make a tea (known as Mormon Tea) with boiling water (everybody needs a kick in the ass in the morning).  I have not investigated, but what is Llerba Matė?  I suspect, do not know.

Thyonyl Chloride [ is nasty stuff - my Walter had yellow stripes on the neck-to-shoulder line on all his shirts, caused by rust on the Hangers (ganchos), this just from fumes] and today, it is not needed.  I am IMPRESSED at your knowledge - a high school drop out and all.  My Walter said "Highschool drop out-my my ass"(me) - you have been to HIGH school and got an "A" - honor role.

I am 63 and will not consume Meth - but I still have a great interest - and you know - if it were legal - I would pass it by without a thought.  Might as well be on the counter with "Feminine Hygiene" products.  Meth and tampons are, in my mind, equal.  (I like Breast Pads tho, and bs.)

Anyway we now know much better reduction techniques.
AND we know drying the Meth+HCL+Water will evaporate
Paciencia is all that is needed.
My friend got instant results with ETHER - which tended to go BOOM!
He never had an accident, lucky SOB.

And I bet you can not get it ether) here or in the USA - shit, in days of freedom, I used to purchase one pound cans at that pharmacy, the farmacéutico did want to know why - and the truth always worked - use only outside and use for Euthanasia.  Normally I took 3/4 pound back to pharmacy and asked the "Dr" to dispose of it for me safely.  NEVER would that behavior cause suspicion, and in this particular case - there was no reason for suspicion.

BASTA YA, let us talk of YOUR art.
You are getting better, superseding your past work.
Yes "Walter" could be perfected (or made to please YOU more).
BUT, as a nerd - I must insist that your contrast is at 100 - 100%
I measured it - white parts are 100% reflective.
Black parts are black.
Technically (and what do I know of your art?) you may want to move
the parts around, you PROBABLY want to reduce contrast in places,
Place the white there, a millimeter to the right, and we do not want to see
his Glasses Hinge so well, so black (just stupid example).

If I had been your "Patron" and had your originals while you sold signed/numbered prints,
well I could be a millionaire by now, much more in a year or two - YOU ARE THAT GOOD, Andress.
You need a financial adviser at this point - and please - be careful of Zapilones.
If you get an adviser, get a a group of trusted friends to check his advice.

Certified Public Accountants end in jail all the time.
Lawyers SHOULD be in there with them - but no - they make the laws for THEM.

Good luck, my friend - I was never "your Boss" I was the beneficiary of your
mind - and good back - a genius peon - artist.  I want you back, but it is clear
that will not happen (Damn) - you are now in Greenwich Village of Latin America
 - where you belong.

Brilliant! you should try increasing the contrast though. Makes the world of difference. Make the darks a bit darker and the lights a bit lighter-putty rubber works well for that.

ohhh thank you so much for the appreciation, and yes you're right shortly after finish thought that, increase the contrast, always happens when I finish a drawing I'm starting to be somewhat perfectionist and think about what details can improve to make it look better ,and of course your advice is welcome (I thought that only me saw low contrast )

Great sketch of one of television's coolest characters.

'Breaking Bad' is perhaps my favorite live action show I've watched. A lot of people seem to adore 'Game of Thrones' or 'Dexter.'

But IMO; nothing compares to the superb 'can't get enough' pacin and character development of Breaking Bad.

And Walter is one of my all time faves.

Heard of Breaking Bad, but don't have cable. From what I've read about it, it's something I really need to look into.

You depicted Walter White as someone who has quite literally said "F*** all this." However, your description is what made me it.
