I wanted to make a complimentary piece for the Crescent Queen illustration I did before. I wanted this one to have a more outgoing confidence in its appearance, contrasting with the crescent moon illustration. The piece was also strongly influenced by sun and steel by Yukio Mishimaand thats my sun and moon illustrations finished
