I came across this lady while photographing in my hometown, Lisbon. Asked to take a photo, she said yes, and then she went on telling me that her husband had died recently and the dog was the only thing she had left. On that moment I forgot all about the photographs and just stayed there a while, talking to her. Sometimes photography gives you much more than photographs.
