Description
First appearing in the short story 'The Call of Cthulhu', Lovecraft describes the entity as "A monster of vaguely anthropoid outline, but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind."

Honestly it's one of my favorite characters to draw, but also one of the most difficult – primarily because I could never manage to show it's entire form on the page. I'm guessing because it's supposed to be hundreds of meters in height and to show it from head to toe might make it seem less intimidating.
