Description
An NPC from our Mutants & Masterminds game, Recyclotron-4 is the villainous predecessor to my own character Recyclotron-5 ( ). As with others from the Recylotron lineage, it was tasked with combatting the devastating spiral of pollution and climate change by absorbing inorganic wastes and converting it on a molecular level to clean, sustainable energy. Alas for the good people of Tokyo, Recyclotron-4 soon came to the conclusion that the only way to truly reverse climate change was to take everything (homes, vehicles, possessions, even life) from the species most responsible for it (us) and harness it to become a purging god. In a backstory, it managed to destroy a swath of the city before it was stopped by Japan's greatest hero Kid Kaiju (who, in some subplot by our GM that will probably effect us later, is currently missing).Understandably, Recylcotron-5 faces a great deal of suspicion and even prejudice from the general public thanks to the actions of this monster.
