Garry's Mod internet culture is based in several classics in machina and funny images over the years. Back before Team Fortress 2 and other games were available to create various kinds of imagery in such a wonderful game It is best for us to remember them. Here are some examples:

-Minges: Coming with the default playermodel of Dr. Kleiner, these GMod newbies have terrorized peaceful Garry's Mod servers for years with their spamming of props and general mayhem interuptting the usual activities of regualr GMod multiplayer.

-Melons: Although many of the more unique scenery props from Half-Life 2 have been used to humorous results over the years, the melon has always stuck out as something else for one reason or another. Is it because they make squishy noises? Is it because it's semi-spherical shape and green pinstripes are naturally able to cause snickers? Is it because it can break into little melon pieces? Or is it simply because it's a delicious and nutritious fruit? Who knows, all we can do is keep using our Gravity Guns to throw them at the nearest Dr. Breen.

-Creepy/Silly G-Man: The temptation to subvert the stotic, myserious nature of the G-Man is always strong, and with the amazing faceposing the character's ragdoll has, he is often the subject for the poses involving randum crazy stuff and the occasional sex offender reference.

-Gordon Frohman: Star of the famous "Concerned" comic series, this character and his shovel-weilding, Breen-loving, alien scum-shooting ways made people laugh in the very earliest days of fun, back when the Orange Box wasn't even released. -John Freeman, Saver of Humens: Although born in intentionally bad fanfiction, it has been Djy1991's famous series of vidoes adapting his stories that have made "wepon", dead pants and Male07 legendary among the GModders. If you haven't already, relive his epic tale here: [link]

Even as you use other characters to create epic, comedic, or just plain abstract imagery in Garry's Mod, you might want to keep in mind just what made this game so much fun to play when the game's namesake launched the first several builds back when Half-Life 2, and all the other games running on Source, was a new and exciting thing, and people were ready to get their hands on its resources.
