While Kaa was San Fransokyo, his collection of men set up a hideout at Gaston’s Tavern. Upon his arrival, Kaa found a surprise visitor: Lady Tremaine.

“While I do not condone your tawdry actions, I can appreciate the suffering it has caused by dear stepdaughter,” she explained. “That’s why, as a friend, I’ve come to inform you that Cinderella has formed a war council to deal with your situation.”

To prove her point, Tremaine used the Beast’s magic mirror to show Kaa the growing threat. Cinderella had convened many of those affected by Kaa’s abductions to strategize and develop a new plan of attack.

”You need allies, yourself, my slithering friend,” Lady Tremaine said. “It’s time to be more aggressive.”
