of one chain is lowered she will move right...if the other is dropped she will move left... therefor... why dont they drop her between the spikes? and then she will help everyone else escape...

Don't think so. If one chain is lowered either the front of her body or the back of her bodyΒ would drop but still in line with the spikes.

This is more than a little late, but your chains are slacking the wrong way. Also why can't they just lower her down onto the spikes slowly, and let her use her body weight to roll off the points that would pierce her and slide between them?

Or would her body weight be impaled slowly on those not too close together points.

Except the spikes are in parallel rows, so should be easy to slip off them. It's not as if the super heroines have an all or nothing on whether they hold her or not.

That Darn Cat...sorry, I couldn't resist. Great artwork on the females, and a very inventive deathtrap for the unlucky Black Cat.
I really like the background too, good mix of column-like pipes and gassy haze, kind of a medieval steampunk setting. It is so ambiguous and yet so distinctive that it could serve as the HQ base for any major supervillain - from Doctor Doom to Lex Luthor, from Darkseid to AndrewR255
