Carol screamed as her flesh burned and the energy discharge arced through her bones. Her skull felt like it was going to burst into shards of bone. She shrieked, spasming in uncontrollable agony. Her whole world was nothing except the pain that had been tearing through her forever and ever and ever...

It stopped, and the blonde Avenger collapsed to her knees. The dirty floor of the torture chamber was hard and cold under her. Had she eaten in the last two days she would have emptied her stomach then and there, but now all she could do was dry heave as she struggled to find a place in her mind not filled with horror.

The Wrecker stood over her, his crew of thugs standing just behind and smiling like the sick freaks they were. "Gotta say blondie," the purple masked villain chuckled, "I knew there would be perks to joining up with Kang, but I never figured it would be this good."

Carol fought for breath. Kang's invasion from the future had recruited the scum of the planet to help him against Earth's heroes. With their victory complete the so called Conqueror of Time had set about fulfilling his promise to break the will of planet's defenders and turn them into his obedient servants. Since her capture that process had included being made into the pain toy for a variety of villains. The only restrictions being that they could not mutilate, cripple or kill her.

The Wrecker held up the neural disruptor in his hand again. "You ready to say you're a bitch and swear allegiance to Kang, sweetheart, or do we gotta persuade you more?"

"Please say more," the lumbering Piledriver laughed, cracking his knuckles.

Carol raised her head. Blood from the beating they had given her at the start of this latest session was across her skin and on her lips, but she spat and glared at them.

"I'm gonna take that as a no," Wrecker said, smiling. He looked at the curves of her body under her tattered black leather costume. "Maybe it's time to go low tech," he said, yanking on on the leash and dragging the captive woman up. "That spiked press looks good, boys. The magic doo-hicky round her neck stops her usin' her strength and blasts, but her invulnerability is still up and runnin'" He licked his lips, staring at his captives ample breasts rising and falling as she sucked in air. "It won't break that super-skin, but I bet we can find some tender spots on that body that will make a POINT on her anyway!"

The other three laughed, dragging the heroic woman across the floor to the device and pushing her forward.

Moments later Carol was screaming again, and again, and again, as the press closed and the spikes were crushing into her female flesh and the pain was tearing through her forever and ever and ever...
