I would prefer calling these guys: Scraplets. Not much of a threat if there's only one, but they fight in large numbers similar to the minuscule Scraplets in Transformers: PrimeΒ when Raf mistaken one as harmless until it inflicted damage on Bumblebee before it was destroyed by Raf himself. And then later Bumblebee, Bulkhead and Ratchet suffered severe injuries from large swarms of Scraplets.

that's not gonna work. The reapers only harvest advanced civilizations. Pyjaks are neither one.

Reapers destroyed only advanced civilizations, but that doesn't mean they don't utilize other species, too. Harvester example is pretty good example of this.Β

Just for fun, do you think you can do Reaper versions of the races from Dragon Age. Elf Reaper, Dwarf Reaper, Qunari Reaper, even Darkspawn Reaper and Abomination (DA) Reaper. How does this sound?

Imp:
This small husk of a creature is a Reaper conversion of a non-sentient species,a Pyjack. Extremely frail in overall structure, these units are designated mainly as scouting units with the intention of slipping into small areas of enemy complexes to inform other Reaper forces of enemy positions. Though they are merely scouts for the Reapers, they are not without defense, possessing a small mass accelerator gun in what was once its head that serves as a deterrent if it is cornered by allied forces.

Imp:
Like the Hellhound and the Harvester, the Imp is a husk of a non-sentient species, in this case the Pyjak. Used by the Reapers as spies and advance scouts, Imps search and root out survivors for processing. While weak, the Imp will call in reinforcements once it finds survivors. Alliance soldiers advice shooting the creatures at long distance.

They are additional used as sabotage troops. Their small size and agility is utilised so they can get inside enemy bases and to their gunships, at which point they crawl into any crevice they can find and detonate.

ZehnWaters [2013-01-29 05:59:23 +0000 UTC]
I think they'd be avoiding Pyjacks as they'd likely be evolving into a sentient species in the next cycle.

this one may be the scariest one yet mainly because of the implications Pyjaks are adaptable clever and most of all EVERYWHERE the reapers could get millions of the inquisitive little creatures overnight and transform them into legions of walking pistols with a single minded bad attitude wonder if they can climb on walls and ceilings.
