Description Still the Vorcha to go then I think I'm finally done!

I thought it was weird that the Reapers bypassed the Yahg in the game since the other races had already considered them for uplifting so they must have been further along than the evolutionary process than humans were the last time the reapers came around. Seems like bypassing the yahg would have given them ample time to become a viable threat during the next cycle, maybe moreso than the protheans even, given the extreme intellect and strength displayed by the shadow broker. My reaper Yahg has his arms converted into thannix cannons, he'd probably be introduced as a means to combat the Krogan forces on Palaven.

The Reapers bypassed anyone who wasn't far enough along some technological scale the Reapers used so sadly no Yahg... But I mean come on, how was this not a boss for some insane mission or DLC?

Mr. Ryan, I'm not sure if you're aware, but someone used your art for paper miniatures and put it under a different name: Phygon Berserker.

they wont touch the yahg as there not evolved yet there just mindless the reason shadow broker is advanced my guess is he was lucky enough to get that way just like star lord in gardians of the galaxy is able to have space tra unlikeΒ  earth

As cool as this would be, The Reapers ignored the Yahg because they were not a space faring race, and thus had no affect on the Galaxy.

Who knows... Mass Effect 5 or 6. Reapers will come to the next cycle when Yahgs become something truly special. Then we would be pretty fucked, considering one of the ending is controlling the Reapers. Honestly I am not sure who would be more dangerous: fully evolved Yahgs or Reapers.

I think the Yahg are mentioned to have been avoided because they weren't a space-faring race.

That being said, I prefer to think the Reapers attempted to invade, then nope'd the fuck out when the Yahg started ripping them new assholes.

This is a very good design but I am pretty sure the Yahg would be spared by the reapers considering there not a space fairing race.

Just kidding, I think all your reaper designs are amazing!

Actually, the reapers do not wish to kill all sentients they wish to wait until the "apex" of a species' grandeur before the harvest.

Cool concept yet the reapers wouldn't touch the Yahg as they aren't a spacefaring race. Or are at least unable to archive interstellar travel.

goodfoot1971 [2013-11-03 15:33:59 +0000 UTC]

And another thing: with the extreme power requirements of those cannons, I seriously doubt he's have much of a barrier. The Reapers are powerful, but not infinitely so. Now, if you teamed him with a Reaper Volus for shield support...yikes!!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

goodfoot1971 [2013-11-03 15:28:27 +0000 UTC]

You're 100% right Andrew. The Reapers bypassed them only because the Yahg don't yet have space flight. There's ZERO reason to rush off to fight an enemy who will still be sitting there when you're done with everybody else. If they attack the Yahg, there's a chance space-faring species counterattack them at Parnack. Conversely, if they're attacking, say, the Asari homeworld, there's ZERO chance the Yahg will be countering them.

Reapers would save them for last, then if they were deemed REALLY tough like the Krogan or worse, and had the same kind of population as the Krogan, the Reapers would most likely poison their atmosphere or some other form of environmental method of killing them.

Golem:

The Golem is a large Reaper unit created from a Yahg. Due to their naturally aggressive demeanor and great size and strength,Yahg that have been converted into Golems pose a significant threat to allied forces. These units are equipped with arm-mounted cannons similar in principle to the main weapon of Reaper Destroyers and Capital Ships, but on a smaller scale, and are designed to flush hardened enemies such as Krogan out of cover and decimate kinetic barriers and armor. As well, due to their impressive stature,Golems have a tendency to advance on their enemies whilst hosing them down with their cannons, closing in to brutally beat down their opponents in close quarters.

Batarian colony planet in the Kite's Nest, "Camala" is actually the name. On its planet info, it says the reaper processing plants run night and day and the Alliance are considering military strikes against the planet.

I recommend they skip right to dropping an asteroid on them.
