Arkanian Kabuto preservse the original features of millions of years ago. Their large eyes are so evolved that can observe the surrounding environment even in turbid waters.

I never understood Kabuto: has it his eyes under the carapace or above? Or both? In my reinterpretation, the eyes are where they should be, above. Kabuto is based on trilobites, a group of extremely successful arthropods that lived in the Paleozoic. They were among the first animals to have a sense of sight, developing eyes whose lenses were made of calcite crystals.
