thanks for your comment . I used painter mainly for painting this image, photoshop used most for controling the layer, adjust the color and crop the image. I used gimp because when working with this image, i also work with a computer that doesn't have a photoshop in it..so gimp is the perfect alternate choice besides photoshop for an open source software.

Ahh. Ok, I knew Gimp was a free alternative to PS, that's why I was wondering why you'd use it. But hey, using it when PS wasn't available works great. Keep up the good work.
