Description
This is a piece I have been working on. Put in about 3 hours to it so far. Started with a rough raw slab of Lepidolite. I worked it into a smooth obelisk shape and did some grinding and sanding and tiny bit of polishing so far. Probably not quite finished yet, but I am pretty happy with it so far. No matter what angle I tried to photograph I just could not capture all the glittery pieces in it, it is so shiny and sparkly!

Hi Rick, his is Lepidolite, not Amethyst. I use my stones for things like altars, meditation, and gridding

Yes they do! I love the sparkles in the Lepidolite though, like little silver glitter

Try lighting it from a different angle, and/or moving the light closer or using a more intense light source, like the sun

Thanks Myron, while I was doing the grinding and polishing I was so afraid I was going to break it in half. It was really hard to get to the middle part with the wheels. So glad I didnt break it!
