Colored version!Back when I was in junior high, Dragon Ball introduced me to manga and truly turned my world upside down. Though my drawing style looks more like a mix of Saint Seiya and JoJo now, Dragon Ball was a turning point: not only did it make me work on my drawing skills like never before since I literally began to try and render movement and facial expressions, but it also really helped me shape my first fully-fledged OCs. Can’t count the times I’d think up crazy fan fictions with my friends and draw for hours with old music on!
Like many, I have to admit I used to have kind of an obsession with Vegeta… which has since turned to a singular interest in dark characters.
(Also, I wonder if my obsession with the 80’s may or may not have started with Dragon Ball 😌)
Anyway, thank you so much Toriyama-sensei, for everything!
