Description Something in the distance captured Akande's attention, but there are no problemswhen there is also Akela!

This tack was an adventure: there are really little references for working with, but I solved the problem looking for sculptures... Unfortunatly, Vikings used wood and leather for making theyr tacks, and into swamps were find only metal parts. I was inspired expecially by what was found into the Buried Ship aka Ladby Skibet, Denmark.
THIS IS NOT REAL TACK, THIS IS A REPRODUTION THAT CAME FROM INCREASED COMPARISONS OF DIFFERENT HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTIONS OF VIKING SADDLE TACKS.

TOTALLY HAND MADE TACK.
Genuine leather, wood.
A special thanks to my Partner, who have had the patience to create the shield from the full of a wooden log, to hump it and hack it!

It is time consuming, for sure. I started a steampunk costume for one of my horses...I worked on it for about two hours, and I feel like I haven't even started. xD

Ah!!!! That's normal!!!! I spend a lot of time for a complete tack, not a lot for making it, but really a lot between reference researces and dead time for keeping it in pose!!!!
