DOUG: Hi question for AndronicusVII. In Teen Titans vs Zizphus 03, Raven and Starfire were ordered by Zizphus to remove their bras and begin their sexual servitude for their new master, but in this picture we clearly see them with their tops on. I mean, what are we, to believe that this is some sort of a, a discontinuity with the last picture? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
Heh just kidding. Great to see this series return with more characters. Heh I guess I've been watching too much Teen Titans Go because I was thinking "wait isn't Jinx a villain" but remembered she turned hero at the end of the last series so... yeah obviously trying to put TTG logic into this will just degrade it like it degrades most things.

ANDRONICUSVII: Well, Doug, first I should check to see if you've seen the expanded version or just the piece on DA. Truth be told, there is toplessness either way. As for punishment, I don't believe in firing people.
I drop them into pits. I have an interior decorator change what's in it on a regular basis, just to keep things fresh. In more than one way.

Vacation and One Piece reviewOkay folks, so you know I am now leaving on a three week vacation. It's going to be a blast, but my ability to get on the Internet and DA will be hit-or-miss. So don't be surprised if you don't see much activity from me in that time period. I'll let you know when I'm back!

Awhile ago, I started a review of various shonen anime settings and general plot/series goal. Note, these were not complete reviews as these left out parts such as fight choreography or characters. I will now conclude that project by going over One Piece.
Now this review is mostly positive, but bear with me, as I do have some criticisms. Also, I have only watched to the end of the Enis Lobby arc.
For the most part, the series design is brilliant. I really get the feeling Eiichiro Oda understands the shonen genre, and wrote with it's limitations and challenges in mind. Let's take a look...

Pffft, that's just ridiculous. And in a fan comic based on cartoon variation of comic book super heroines involving total slave hypnosis to build up a harem of girls including a half demon, alien, reality altering mystic and jungle dweller who can turn into stone who partners with a cave man, there is no room for ridiculous.
... Yeah I'm just being a sarcastic bitch obviously.
