great set! I prefer the 1st one for less distortion, the 2nd one for the higher baloons and the exclusion of the subjects the baloons are knot to.

I think I like this one a bit better. I think it's possibly because she's looking away instead of into the camera, so it looks more like she's lost in thought and/or daydreaming. Also, I think the thin depth of field adds to the dreamlike quality of it.

personally, i prefer this version more to the other one. i think it's because it's much more closer to her, the focus is truly on her. i guess you could say it's more "in your face"? but that's a good thing 
by the way, how did you manage to keep the balloons down? did you weigh it down or just... tie it to the grass?
