Oh, she likes him, but she likes her popularity more. Tootie doesn't care about popularity, but she's behind the eight ball because of well, everything. All Trixie has to do is give up her popularity, but that's not easy, I'm sure of that. Tim/Trix is an okay couple, but I'm a Too fan, so guess who I prefer Tim's future wife to be.

On the other side, too bad then some writers didn't continued to develop Trixie's hidden tomboy side (when she was on the comic book store and video game disguised), sometimes I begin to ponder if she was a sort of a prisonner in a golden cage? Imagine Trixie now free of a golden cage doing everyhing she really wants like some extreme stunts like Maurecia (a character from the cartoon Wayside)
Also, another possibility of "what might have been" if Tootie decided to check elsewhere if the grass is greener elsewhere? Dating another boy. I taught of Chester, I know then girls gived him the hives, but what if, thanks to some circumstances, Tootie is the only one who don't give the hives? Like Tootie, Chester is also a underdog and it seems to be the "forgotten underdog". I did some Chester-Tootie sketches [link] [link] I hope you'll like them
