Tonight I stared into darkness,and the darkness stared at me.
And that darkness was alive,
as alive as darkness could be.
Without form, without breath,
twisted upon itself - my path.
I spoke to darkness,
and the darkness said to me.
"What are you waiting for,
it surely can't be me."
I'm waiting for a path,
I'm waiting for you to lead me.
Lead me beyond this place,
beyond the light and shadows.
Away from loneliness,
away from fear.
And the darkness said to me,
without form and without voice,
"your fear will always be,
just as you will never see."
See me beyond the form outside your door.
Just as you will never love anymore."
And I knew the truth within the words,
and I knew the fear within my soul.
And knowing what to do, I took hold.
Hold of the darkness, hold of my fear.
I stepped beyond the ledge and fell.
Far from fear.
Far from here.

this makes me feel something.. I'm not sure how to explain it.. but it's there. I really love the words.. I can feel the darkness, you painted a dark picture in my head. It's really great. Thanks for sharing.
