well ... It took a shitload of time. You just get in there and make every hair strand till it's done XD. Having some custom brushes also helps

no worries the whole piece is great, but i'm always envious of people who get texture like that so spot on, and no problem with some of the submission refusals XD i need a kick in the arse at times to push through complacency

you have no ideea how many submission refusals I got since I started submitting to groups. It's a good thing man, real life is way more evil (try architecture college as a concept artist ... now that's depressing )

i know all to well XD not the architecture college, but similar situations. Lifes full of those frustrations of things just not quite being quite right...data analysis for 2 yrs that was soul draining too. I think there's too many aspects of the working world that seem to make every effort to suck the joy out of life...I've never got why that's appealing...maybe that's immaturity on my behalf, but then i figure life is too short to be breaking your back for other miserable and shackled people. I guess the trick is to do what you need to do, shuffle along with the rest for a while till you find the place that allows you to do your thing and then go for it. And the knock backs just hone your approach till you perfect it
