to figure out
this life I lead
that's come unstuck.
A short term cell
of decadence,
this lonely heart
refused to mend.
I can't believe
this hurts this much,
I didn't think
I gave a fuck.
Well now i know
I do not get
my own damn heart
within my chest.
So I will sit
within these walls
till I can end
this stupid war.
