thank you, taking a panorama of the scene then cropping it back exactly how I wanted was the key to getting the composition I wanted

Sandy/brown tones are good, light's clear, shadows provide excellent depth and focus is spot-on. Nice work.

thanks luckily, I was wise enough to make this out of a panorama, so I had plenty of extra space with which to crop down the composition exactly how I wanted

farthing downs, about 2 miles from my house in coulsdon. I could have spent hours on this path as its so photogenic... but nature decided to rain on me

what i did was use a very high colour temperature as the scene was quite dull. It had just turned overcast, so I had to do something to capture the light passing between these few trees

straight praise is always good

i only place that because im quite annoyed at how deviantART tries to shove premium membership down your throat till you get one... and i'm quite sure they make enough from advertising to run the site
