It's a pity we've only seen brief glimpses of stations like this in movies, such Elysium, where there was no exploration of what it's like to live on one.

I twas a good movie but it would have been cool to have seen more of Elysium. I based the sketch on a concept art piece of a Stanford Torus. The brief shot of the O'Neill station in Interstellar was pretty cool.

Yeah, I was glad to see the O'Neill at the end of Interstellar (but didn't want to mention it in case you hadn't seen it). It'd be great to have a whole movie or series set on one of these, now we know they can be visualised so believably.

The only other station like this featured in a series would be Babylon 5. Glad you've seen Interstellar dude. Didn't mean to mention the ending.
