Description
Originally designed in 1998, these carbon fibre pit crew helmets). Using internal components from Carerra, Kenwood and later Oakley these are the envy of the pit lane. A mechanic has to wear head gear for 2hrs and this design is half the weight of a race helmet despite being designed and drawn up in three days!

The chin protection area houses a microphone, with the radio lead exiting over the shoulder away from arms and chest.
