This is a creature concept I had in mind for a while. The sketch started as a warm-up doodle, though I got a little carried away with it.
It's a creature design for my own project "Chaos Destiny".

great concept sketch. love the idea, love the form. there is quit a lot of detail going on, hard to see features but thats what i like about it. mean we have to look at it more to see what going on.
i like the hands too.
the background "staining" effect is cool. how was that achieved?

I would like to know, how does one become the eyeball collector, without giving too much away of course. Just what form of power does he have? If he does have a power and isn't just around to strike terror into faint hearts? I really am curious

It's an idea I had for a while and it does have a concept behind it. It wasn't inspired by either of those movies, & actually I have never seen Pumpkinhead.

I like this more than your other art. but I really like concept designs. This one is pretty hardcore and unique. I am surprised I have not seen something like this already but you did it excellently. I can see this guy maybe with legs in a resident evil game. very nice!

What sort of leads are you doing this amount of detail with?
Do you normally pencil this detailed when you are inking the piece?
Definitely a good way of drumming up publicity for your chaos destiny project!

I use a normal HB lead... a mechanical pencil or one of the lead holder pencils.
This might be a little tighter than I pencil something to be inked, though I can get carried away with rendering in pencil too.
