This is my friends gothic sg, modeled from a photograph. may not be totally accurate cus i only had a 2 pictures to work from. This is the final render for this guitar but i am guna make the amp to go with it later on. I am submitting this on its own because of the ludacrisly high render time 1hr 24mins!!! Anyway hope you all like it and hope to hear your thoughts. ENJOY!!!!!!!Program used:- Cinema4d, also used to render

Machine:- AMD64 3000+ 2.04GHz, 1Gb RAM, XFX 6600GT 500/1000, Abit KV8 MAX3

Wicked ass render! Obviously you needed more photos to get some of the details. But I'm a gutiar stickler and am really bad at pointing stuff out... like the fact that the real SG Gothic has a smaller pickguard, black knobs, black input jack, black toggle switch cavity, the headstock should also taper off more for that 'gibson' angled headstock look. However, this is art, it's not supposed to be like the real thing right? I could only wish to do models as well as you anyways...

dude, you've got problems, why did you just diss andy like that? just cos you don't think his guitar is as good as that other one doesnt mean you can just say his work sucks. personally i preffer andy's SG, but you dont see me going onto that other guy's work and telling him it sucks do you? sure you are entitled to your opinions, but you don't have to be nasty, maybe you should try being nice about people's work once in a while and people might start to like you. please be nice

i am with jake ere, with an effort and a render like that, to say that hours worth of work sucks ass then you have some issues!!! But can i ask, if you know "all" then wtf is wrong with this model then?? This render is everything but rubbish, this is the best piece of work andy has produced yet, and i have seen his first ever model and this has come on rediculos amounts from those, andy is probobly the best modeler i know as a friend nd wht you said is wrong m8, wrong.
In conclusion, GET YOUR HEAD SORTED PALL!

Its obvious why it took 1hr 45mins to render, very good lighting, very good clean lines.
How many nurbs were in it in the end?

6 hyperNURBS, this is a lot but i couldnt think of another way to do what i had to so meh! Thanks for you comment dude really appriciate it, and the ova guy who commented in under 10 seconds of me posting lol!!!!!!
