yay finally found a good photo of my MurciΓ©lago cosplay with wings out! again this was my winning cosplay at the Sunday of Melbourne Supanova 2009. hopefully i'll end up re-using the wings for my planned Segunda release cosplay at Manifest this year

I believe this qualifies as an epic win. Way to put some awesome effort into an awesome costume. I wish I knew how to make costumes and had time to do it. I hope your Segunda Etapa cosplay and ichigo cosplay turn out even better!

awesome, i might be cosplaying orihime, if i am i'll be with a group of bleach cosplayers, rukia...tatsuki...etc. i don't think our group has an ichigo though...

just made a rig with pvc pipe and bamboo with custom hinges and such mounted onto a full metal backplate and then covered in 2 layers of black concreting plastic

actually they really weren't that heavy, it was weird but they were pretty well balanced and kept me standing nice and straight. although the contest went for soooo long and with them on i couldnt sit down at all so i did get a bit sore from standing up for all that time.
