Description This year is the 20th anniversary of our limbless hero, RAYMAN!!!

It's been 20 years since the first Rayman game got released which was in 1995.

I remember playing the first Rayman, the side-scrolling platform game, on the PC at my cousin's house, when I was a kid, before getting a copy of it for PS1 (and PC as well) and boy I liked it.

Later after that, a couple of years later I suppose, I played Rayman 2 for PS1 at my friends house before getting a PC version of it of my own before I got the other versions of the game such as PS1, N64 (which is my favourite version of all the versions of Rayman 2), DC, NDS and 3DS. I have Rayman 2 for all versions... well, except for iPhone/iPod Touch. Anyway, of all the Rayman game series, Rayman 2 is my most favourite game for one reason, you get to shoot robot-pirates on your journey. It can be a scary game, but that's another story and I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't played it so I will skip that. In my opinion, it has a great story.

Rayman M (Rayman Arena in America) is the first game I've got for PS2 as a Christmas present along with the PS2 itself and I love the game as well. For those who don't know, the letter "M" in Rayman M stands for "Multiplayer". It's both the foot racing game and the third-person-shooting game (which is mostly why I love the game) and in the third-person-shooting mode of the game, you can set up rules of how you play the game. For instance, you can stop your opponents by shooting them with ice balls (or as I would like to call it the "ice bullets") to freeze them in order to get the lum which iquals one point during the match. Another rule of the third-person-shooting mode is like a ball game from Halo, you take the flying smiling lum (as your ball) with you and keep it from your opponents (that shoot you to get the lum from you) as possible to get an a point in every matter of seconds. The next rule is my most favorite rule of the third-person-shooting mode of the game. To some and me as well, it's a deathmatch. Basically, what you just do is to shoot your opponents in order to get points, you get a point for each person you shoot during the match. You can shoot your opponents with every weapon you get or with a certain weapon depending on how you set the rules of the game.

Rayman 3 is a good game, but I like Rayman 2 better. Just like Rayman 2, it can be scary (in some levels) and you can shoot your enemies by using Rayman's fists like in the first Rayman game and unlike in Rayman 2 where you shoot with magical fire- or thunderballs or some sort.

Rayman has been a star in a few Rabbids game called Rayman Raving Rabbids before Rayman and Rabbids series became two separate game series. If buy a Rabbids game, I only buy and play it because Rayman is in there which I did for the most reasons.

Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, the two side-scrolling platform games, have already been released, but I am still expecting another 3D platform game of Rayman.

I hereby end this description. ^^

Thank you so much for bringing me joy, Rayman! ^^

Happy 20th Anniversary, mun! ^^

Here's the intro of the first Rayman game, if you want to see. ^^

And here are some comparison videos of Rayman 2. Each version of Rayman 2 except N64, PC and NDS. Dreamcast is said to be the best version.
"www.youtube.com/watch?v=etH2Py… ". Now, keep that in mind that the N64 and NDS versions have MIDI-music for the background music while the other versions of Rayman 2 have the orchestrated background musics.

Rayman 2 is the most rated and my most favourite game of the series. ^^

Oh, and one more thing I should tell you, if you ever play Rayman 2, that the characters of Rayman 2 speak only gibberish in all the other versions while in the PS1 and PS2 version, they speak English, of course in the PS2 version, you can set it up for characters to speak gibberish, if you want. ^^
