i hear ya! I have a day job and when i get a freelance project, it keeps me from my personal stuff. Are you a full time illsutrator or do you do it on the side?

Would love to be full-time. Definitely on the side at the moment. The day job is not leaving me with much gas in the tank for illustrating. And the children's publishing market seems to be in major atrophy at the moment. Still, it's nice to just keep plugging away

I'm in a similar spot as you with the day job situation! I've had some great smaller comics side projects lately, but I cannot handle a big workload. I'm trying to focus on some personal art stuff for a while. We are expecting our second child this summer so I'm going to take some time off to focus on family.

Fantastic mate. Congrats on the imminent arrival of #2. Personal art stuff has been keeping me from going crazy for the most part this year. But I can feel some cogs coming loose again so it must be time to get back to the paints. Look forward to seeing more of your work!
