I've had an idea for Muppet Lord of The Rings for a while now, and I've got the perfect cast:
Tom Holland as Frodo
Gonzo & Rizo as Sam/Merry/Pippin
Kermit as Arigorn
Fozzy as Gimly
Rolph as Arigorn
Miss Piggy asΒ Galadriel/Arwen/Eowyn (Yes, all three in one)
Liam Neeson as Gandalf
Animal as Gollum
Sweedish Chef as Elrond (Bork Bork is the Elvish language)Β
Steven Tyler asΒ Saruman with the band as his backup
Bunsen & Beaker as Saruman's wizard henchmen
Sam Eagle as the leader of the eagles
Statler and Waldorf as Treebeard

And an army of idiot puppet orcs who can only say the word "orc"

In a hole in the ground there lived a muppet. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a muppet-hole, and that means comfort.

Being one of the few (read: only) people I now that read this book, I think this is just plain awesome. Muppets in Lord of the Rings... That just seems like it would work, if it was done in the right way.
