Description Tree of Life placed on a leather circle for rune casting. Just a little project I made for a coworker of mine. The design for the pattern was done by my coworker, I only put it on leather for him.

that is so cool. roots and branches mirrored and intertwined. Looks like trees have lots of meaning around the world, in the Asian world especially the Banyan/Bodhi (ficus) tree has lots of significance, from Buddha to Bali to Ankor Wat, because the tree sends down aerial roots from the canopy and from it grows new 'neverending' life. What about your culture?

Nice! How'd you get that overlap effect?

With the swivel knife and the bevels you can add all kinds of layering to a leather project. If I get a chance I might be able to throw up a little close up of some work for a demo.
