For a minute I thought you were making a stereopticon view!

No - it is exactly the same camera position.

But since (for a little larger set) iRay crashed again, I'm thinking about the return to 3Delight render.

I realize it is the same. As I said, at first glance it reminded me of a stereopticon view. Which makes me think: It should be easy to create a stereo view using a 3D program, I imagine.

(I know nothing about 3D rendering programs. I started working on Poser about six or seven years ago when my computer died. A friend recommended DAZ a year or so later, and pointed to a free version available from DAZ; but after downloading it, not would not work. My friend looked at the error code I was getting and apparently the laptop I had did not contain a chip necessary to run the program. I think I am not meant to do 3D rendering.)

Oh, that's a pitty.

To produce 3Ds is quite easy. As you see in my earlier pics. I did a lot.
I even published a freebee stereo-camera preset for DAZ. -> www.sharecg.com/v/77718/browse…
