Description Daniel walked up to his car and opened the door. As he entered, he put his new surfboard in the back seat and drove off.

Daniel was headed to a beach party at the coast, and it was a large public party that somebody was hosting, though everyone in town was welcome. Being a paty person, Daniel couldn't miss this opportunity. He lived a couple miles away from the coast where the party was at, and on the way, he stopped to grab a bite to eat, since he hadn't eaten breakfast.

The day was bright and beautiful, albeit a little hot, which Daniel found out the hard way when he realized he forgot sunscreen. Oh well. That shouldn't be too big of a deal however. Daniel didn't need it too much as far as he knew.

He arrived at the party, where he brought his towels and his umbrella to set up. The area was packed full of people but there was still plenty of space to set up. Daniel grabbed his umbrella, and carefully walked it over to a spot where he would set up. He planted it in the ground, but it fell over slightly, before collapsing completely. "Hey, do you need some help?" A stranger offered. "Oh, hey there! Yes I do!" The tough looking stranger helped Daniel set up his umbrella with ease. "Thanks, man!" Daniel said as the guy who helped him walk off. "No problem!" the stranger replied.

After a tiny bit of resting under his umbrella, Daniel grabbed his new surfboard from his car. This is what he was really looking forward to. When Daniel walked back to his spot on the beach, where he was noticed by somebody. It was Cole. Cole was a guy back from high school, and the two didn't quite get along back then. Cole had a little scheme to get revenge on Daniel for something that happened all those years ago, and he would start off by fooling Daniel.

"Hey, Daniel, it's me! Remember? I'm Cole!" He said to Daniel with an enthusiastic voice. Daniel took a second to look at him, recognizing him. He found it a little strange that he was acting so nice, however he didn't suspect a thing since it has been about three years, so Daniel thought he probably let it go, and he would too. "Oh, hey!" Daniel said, sounding a little shy as he felt awkward talking with a formal rival.

Cole discussed a couple things with Daniel, and all went well. Cole pulled out a bottle of sunscreen, noticing Daniel had none. "Hey, I noticed you didn't have any, want some of mine?"   Cole offered before wrapping up the conversation. Cole gave it to Daniel, and he put it on his stomach and back before handing the sunscreen back to Cole. "Thanks dude!" Daniel said. "Of course!" Cole replied.

In reality, that sunscreen was more than met the eye. Cole moved off to the side to talk with another friend of his about what he did to Daniel. "Did you do it?" Cole's friend asked as he returned to observe. "Yep, now we just gotta see the results!" Cole observed Daniel to watch the trap he had set up.

Daniel walked off to start surfboarding, unaware the sunscreen Cole just gave him turned his skin a grayer color, along with making it wetter and more slippery. Daniel took off to the water, and by now his feet had become webbed. They also only had three toes, along with becoming a much more pointed shape. In the middle of the water, Daniel stopped to look down at his new and more aquatic feet once he noticed them. "Woah..." He said to himself. "Are my feet... Webbed? How is that possible?" He watched the changes continue as his hands followed the same changes as his feet, leaving him with four fingers that were also a more pointed shape. The gray skin had also covered him all the way up to his head by now.

Daniel's blue shorts ripped off, too small to contain his new muscular body, and his extending spine. It elongated into a thick shape, rearranging and cracking to create a wide and menacing tail, complete with a massive fin at the end, which pointed three directions. "Is that a... tail?" Daniel asked himself, still confused and amazed. Smaller fins appeared throughout his tail, and by now his tail was also much longer than his legs were tall. Daniel's tail swished back and forth, and it's giant fins were the most intimidating thing Daniel had ever seen, particularly since he knew they were his.

Daniel's back also grew a smaller fin, and his face was next. It changed into a more triangular but distinct shape, being covered by the gray skin on the rest of his body. His brown hair started to become a bit less noticeable, though it didn't dissapear, instead giving Daniel a small mane on the back of his head.

Daniel looked down at himself, still on a surfboard out in the water. "Wow..." He told himself. "This... is awesome! Did Cole's sunscreen cause this? I gotta find more of that sutff!"

Daniel, not used to his body though impressed went back ashore to rest so he could become more familiar with the new him. Daniel walked up to Cole, who didn't notice him, and was complaining to his other friend. "Hey! He still had legs! You bought the wrong one! What's wrong with you?" Cole yelled to his friend. Curious, Daniel listened in more. "What did you want it to do?" His friend replied. "I said get the one where Daniel won't have legs! That way he'd turn into a normal shark and be stuck in the ocean forever!" Cole yelled back. "Why did you want to do this any way?!" His friend replied. "Because, this is my revenge for how he treated me in highschool. Now he's a beast with the muscle of a human and the ability to walk, plus swim like a shark! If you'd of bought the right one, he'd be trapped in the ocean, just like I planned to teach him a lesson."

Daniel understood now, he had come to a conclusion. The sunscreen Cole gave him was supposed to turn him into a normal shark, which would guarantee he couldn't live outside of water, basically removing him from Cole's life. But Cole's friend had luckily bought the wrong sunscreen, and Now Daniel was angry, but he played it cool until he had a better opportunity, or maybe he could also try to get revenge himself. For now, Daniel decided he would take a rest and see if an opportunity would present itself.

Daniel walked off back to his spot, seeing Cole spray himself with sunscreen, presumably so he would become an anthro shark like Daniel, since he had just seen what that sunscreen did. Unfortunately for Cole, his friend he had just scolded decided to swap out Cole's bottle since Cole was being such a jerk to him.

Later, Daniel was about to head home like everyone else did. He got up, but before reaching his car, he could hear someone yell to him "Hey, help!" The massive and bulky shark human turned around and ran to the source of the sound. It was Cole. Though not quite the Cole he remembered. After Cole's friend swapped out the bottle, Cole was now a normal shark stuck to the ocean - the same thing Cole wanted to turn Daniel into.

"Hey, Daniel! Oh thank goodness! You see my sunscreen? Can you spray me with that so I can be a human again?" Daniel looked down at the shark on the shore water for a second. "Well, you see Cole, I heard everything. You wanted to turn me into what you are now, so maybe you'll see this as karma. Not that it'll matter, because you're not getting another chance after what I heard! I know what you're intentions were. You wanted to get revenge on me!" Daniel told him. "D-Daniel.. C'mon, you wouldn't leave me hanging, would you?" Cole asked. "I would after that." Daniel replied. Cole, aware it was hopeless charged Daniel, who easily avoided him by walking ashore. "Oh, hey, little sharky can't walk ashore like I can, huh?" Daniel said, taunting Cole. "Don't worry though." Daniel continued. "I'll go in the water, and it'll be more fair. Haha! Only kidding about it being fair! I'm as strong as a gorilla in this form, and I can swim with the speed and force of a shark!" Daniel said as he pushed Cole the shark further into the waters. Cole charged him again, only for Daniel to dive in the water, speeding off in his athro shark form all the way back to his apartment, and Cole could barely keep up with the anthro shark, before giving up on chasing him entirely. Cole on the other hand, well, his apartment didn't matter anymore. It had been replaced by his new home; the ocean.
