i wanted to say happy new year, and thank you to everyone whose been extra patient with me.
my plan is to go through my artwork, cherry pick the pieces i am proud to show off, and unarchive them. it may take some time considering i have 430+ photos to go through.
this is not something i have taken lightly, i've been fairly transparent about my art and mental health journey up until this point (since 2015) but i'm finding it difficult to stay comfortable with that. it is very unfortunate that a couple bad apples have completely thrown me off track, and changed me, but it's okay. i will never stop drawing and i will never stop trying to be myself.
please heed my warning, and be careful about wearing your heart on your sleeve. especially on the internet. there are people who can and will take advantage of your kindness and honesty, because they see it as weakness or something to impose their own ideals on. nobody will get you as much as you get yourself, and that's okay. i don't need validation to know i'm okay. i will continue to grow stronger and will learn from every mistake, i hope.
