Description
Fighting the growing urge to panic, Dean caught the angel as he began to topple. Castiel was shaking badly, harsh spasms wracking his body, each and every muscle locked up and quivering. Dean wrapped him in both arms and held him tight. He'd thought forgiving Cas would be hard, but right now he didn't look anything like a god, or even an angel, just a bloody, terrified child who'd played with matches and accidentally set fire to the house.

"Cas, come on man, it's alright. I've got you." Sopping wet leather squelched between them as Dean tightened his hold on the angel, unwilling to allow even an inch of space between them. A strangled whimper forced it's way out of Castiel's throat as he threw his arms around the hunter, clinging to him in what must have been pure desperation.

"I'm sorry," the angel croaked, his bloody hands clutching at Dean as though he were the only solid thing left in the entire world. "I never meant for things to happen this way. What I did to you and Sam, what I've put you through... I'm ashamed. Brother, please, forgive me. I beg you. Please..."

He repeated it over and over, his voice a hoarse, pleading croak. Maybe just as desperate, Dean hugged him tight, rocking him like he used to rock Sammy after a really bad nightmare. The cold rain pattered down on their heads, rivulets of blood and water washing away down Dean's coat.

"Take it easy, Cas. It's gonna be alright," he muttered. "We're gonna fix this."

A shudder rocked Castiel's body and to Dean's utter horror, he thought he could feel something squirming between them, struggling to force its way from beneath the angel's skin. Castiel choked, coughing a thick gout of blood onto Dean's shoulder, and the hunter winced as Cas' forehead knocked against his chin, burning with a deep, sick heat.

"I think... I need help," Castiel groaned.

SUMMARY: Leviathan!Cas right after he kills everybody at the voting office. Dean was out in the Impala, not caring where he drove, only that he was driving. Anything to distract him from the misery and frustration. And then he found Cas.
