For DragonCon 2012 I, my girlfriend, her best friend, and my sister decided to do a OUAT group.This will be the first of several planned Rumple costumes.

Seriously? You added my Trisste-stock to blocked list for tiny bit of critique? Oh Dearie, you really have some issues with self-confidence. Good luck with blocking everybody who points you out that it's not how Rumple'sΒ face makeup should look like.

This picture is literally three years old. My makeup has improved since I first did this costume. If you actually wanted to give me a "critique" that's fine, but "You could have done better." isn't a critique. And yes. I do have self confidence "issues". Thanks for pointing that out! You're welcome to give me pointers on what I could do to better improve the makeup.Β

I realize my take on his makeup is not the best too, also photo tillΒ never depict how i really looks, but it was fun. Hopefully you'll have a chance to get pics next time you'll cosplay Rumple

Ok fair enough. Yes you're right, I guess critique with advice is easier to take. But for example it's not like I don't have a right to say that cake tastes bad even if I wouldn't know how to make one better. Rumple's face looks more like a terrible case of acne with a mix of graphite-green and gold colors and human skin bit visible from underneath his "crocodile skin". If I had to make amateur Rumple make-up I would make a sticky green paste from crushed cornflakes. That was my first spontaneous try.

After I applied it on my skin I realized that I should have crushed cornflakes a lot more, because here pieces are to big. Paste is made from thick syrup so it sticks to the skin. When paste was dry I used big makeup brush to add a tint of gold. Green and gold used here are makeup eye shadows.

I think there is to much gold in the face, other then that it is cool.
