If anyone here has ever read the original Mirage TMNT comics, then you’d remember that Michelangelo had an alien dino girlfriend named Seri, who was also a princess. They were together for one night and the very next morning it was revealed that she had laid eggs. No joke, Mikey had kids with her. Sadly, her bodyguards later arrived and took her away, breaking the family apart. Before he could reunite with her and their children, the series got cancelled.

In my “Last Ronin” AU, Seri returned to Earth to make amends with him and swore to never leave his side again. She told him about their children, all of whom were now grown up and would love to meet their father. Although Mikey loved the idea of moving away with Seri and having a new family, he still needed to free New York from Hiroto’s tyranny and end the Hamato-Oroku war.

The kiss scene was inspired by “The Dark Knight Returns”
