To begin with, I love the expression on her face. The stretched shadow gives a very nice effect. The hair and costume are also very well done. Perhaps my only criticism is that it seems to need a little more background or something. Clearly you were going for a simplistic look, but it seems to be lacking to me. I wonder how it would look if the shadow was slightly closer to her body--ending almost exactly where the pole starts seems wrong somehow. Perhaps the background could use a hint of color, or the stage could be reflective or something.
The main reason I critiqued this is because I really like it. I prefer to critique only good works.
