Description
As I lay here broken and alone,
I visualise your face and wish for home.
The horizon turns a colour I know all to well
While I disappear into the oceans swell.
When I return to where my loyalties lie,
I feel your presence pass me by.
Seeing your face brings me to tears
As I relive my past fears.
If I stay too long my master shall awake
When I realise this I start to shake.
We run away like I’ve done all my life
Into realms filled with pain and strife.
As we run you start to disappear
Even though I want you near.
This world is not what it seems
For we are in the world of dreams.
