I love this. I just finished the book last night and searched for images of Borgo Pass to see if anything resembled what I imagined. This was very close to what I pictured when Van Helsing and Mina were resting up for what was to come after racing the count's box of earth for days to his Castle. It's a shame I can't find many illustrations this rich for other settings in the story. Well done.

I simply wish to say, I am a writer... And artwork is the source of my greatest inspirations... And being a writer of Fantasy in general, I tend to look at artwork and instantaneously fit it into a fantasy setting... I just supposed that you would appreciate the knowledge that looking at your images, provides me with a great many ideas for stories... Sorry if it's a bit wordy...

You are so amazing, I showed my brother your work and he was in denial. I didn't realize when I first saw this that this was from Dracula, which I started reading shortly afterwards. When I read that part of the book this immediatly came to mind.

LOL... you know... all of those stories about Dracula... they're not real. LOL. Anyway, Vlad Tepes was not a vampire... he just used to empaled people.
As for your work... I love it... kinda reminds me of Dracula as well. And since I live in Romania ( Transilvania is a region of Romania ), I like it ven more.

The entire scene is amazing, but the fire itself is out of this world; near photorealistic. The lighting on the horses and buggy is just gorgeous. Very captivating.

And there's Dracula's castle! Absolutely wonderful, ever since I first saw it I knew what it looks like. Just as how I imagined Borgo Pass, if not better! It's excellent, almost looks like a photograph!
