For all those who died stripped naked, shaved, shornFor all those who screamed in vain to the Great Goddess only to have tongues ripped out by the root..
For all those who were pricked, racked, broken on the wheel for the sins of their inquisitors
For all whose beauty stirred their torturers to fury and for those who ugliness did the same
For all those neither ugly nor beautiful, but only women who would not submit..
For all those whose quick fingers broken in the vice
For all those soft arms pulled from their sockets
For all those budding breasts ripped with hot pincers
For all those midwives killed merely for the sin of delivering man to an imperfect world..
For all those witch women, my sisters who breathed freer as the flames took them
Knowing as they shed their female bodies, the seared flesh falling like fruit in the flames
That death alone would cleanse them of the sin which they died
The sin of being born a woman who is more than the sum of her parts..

Incredible. And let's hope we never see the Burning Times ever again. The inclusion of a young one is a very powerful and moving image, and reminder to us all that the only way to a peaceful world is through tolerance and acceptance. And also a reminder that no matter how bad things seem to be now, we suffer nothing compared to our ancestors.

For The Lost but not Forgotten

Time poem was written was 12:30 pm C.S.T.
I have seen the place where souls do not rest;
Where time awaits for its moment to forget.
I have been to Salem,Mass and seen the Witch Museum;
A Museum that records that tale of Horror and Woe;
A time that the world should never forget;
A place that all nasty christian parents and
their rotten little wild eyed bullying children
should both have to go as well as know.
A time in which the Sheer Entirty of Christianity fell sin to
that time period we call "The Burning Times" was nearing its peak in 1692.
A time when innocents where falsely accused and charged with crimes that they did not commit and rotten little children claimed that the people that they did not like were the ones making them have fits.
When in truth these rotten brats were completely false and utter liars but because of their untruths and, the unscrupulous and greedy nature of the christian church and its sick and twisted desires; many of these good and innocent people ended up upon the rabidness of Raging Fires.
Others were pressed to death by the sheer weight of large stones;
that of course was untill all heard;
The Explosion of the Human Heart,
The Forced Compression of the Lungs,
and the cracking, shattering and breaking of their bones.
Others still were drowned to death through the use of various devices;
And Even more were hung or beheaded based on fraudulent testimony and the church's interest in stealing land and homes at incredibly unscrupulous prices.
Around this time a book was written on how to extract confessions from people accused of the crimes of WitchCraft;The Various Forms of torture used were clearly written by People whom were made up of both the Dementedly Derranged and the Emotionally Daft.
It is in this day and age that we must always learn
that there are those who would who live to serve a purpose
that we do not agree with and yet others still;
who just wish to see the world burn.
Yet, no matter who we are;
No Matter what we do;
No matter what we say;
These UnErasable and Historical Truths;
are Truths that will Never go Away.
