This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but my dad didn't finish using his laptop early enough. He did it late and I never got to post this on time. Ugh... It's why there are a couple of things I wanna tell you all about . One, it's about the minor tumor I mentioned previously three times . My dad clarified to me the other day that "bukol" actually means "lump". The Google translate I used for the translation wasn't being completely accurate with it since I used another English-translated word and not the correct one. So the tumors I had in my abdomen twice were just lumps I felt on the inside. Geez, my Tagalog really is moderate . And two, my birthday is now less than 2 more weeks. I'm not saying that I'm not looking forward to it this year. I just have some slight uncertainties about it recently because I remembered I only went out to the mall on my birthday with my dad, who came up with the idea of having a simple birthday outing at the mall, for more or less 4 years. Can't remember how long is that exactly since I've been staying at home a lot . Well anyways, I'm hoping my birthday this year will be different. My dad is getting a possible business project or two from what I last heard after he told me sometime ago. There isn't one yet, but there's a possibility he is going to get it. While things are starting to turn out great for him, none of that has been happening to me in months regardless of how content I am with my life as of now. Around sometime last week, I heard about a Pokemon-related event so late on FB. It was a Pokemon convention called PokeCon, the Philippines' very first Pokemon Con created for the fans. I didn't get to tell my dad about the event early enough, which is how I never attended it. Total bummer ... So you see, I can't tell if things are gonna be okay for me. It's been like that for so many months. What caused it all is my dad's hard truths. He told me certain things I didn't want to believe are true until they actually happened. Thanks to him, my positivity for myself is mentally affected so bad that lots of things my heart desires did not happen whether I got my hopes too high or I didn't get enough hope in them, like if they're fantasies and dreams that will never come true. Reality opened my eyes to that when I eventually accepted the things my dad was right about before I matured from it all. Despite realizing life is just how it is, a part of me inside is saying that I should never give up on what my heart desires. My negativity better not affect me again before my birthday arrives or I'll believe my life will not be great at all.

Now I have something that will my mind off what I talked to you about even though I was a day late to post it. This is an old picture I created over 2 years ago. It's Angelica/me in an outfit for when she/I goes/go on investigating cases and crimes as a detective in a world of Nancy Drew. The maker I used for this picture is a dress up game called the Detective Nancy Dress Up (meiker.io/play/11619/online.ht… ). I made the picture sometime after my DA friends already used it for their own Detective Nancy pictures during the time they did it. When I created my picture later on, I've never considered posting it until now. Although I'm not much of a Nancy Drew fan, she is not bad for a female detective. I even remembered watching a 2007 Nancy Drew movie once. From that, I can tell Nancy's an interesting character like Sherlock Holmes in a way when it comes to solving crime and mystery investigations . The clothes in the dress up game are all that's available there. I'm not familiar with any of them, except the dress and necklace worn by the 2007 version of Nancy in the film as seen on its poster. Some of the details are not bad. What I picked for Angelica's/my outfit here is what I chose through improvising. Besides, I had to use what I think is more fitting for Angelica/me to wear when she/I investigate/s a crime as a detective in a casual outfit . I think her/my face looks pretty in the style of the dress up game, especially with the hairstyle that looks similar to my original real-life long hair. That would be me if I were a detective in a Nancy Drew world like maybe the 2007 Nancy Drew movie. I picked a white shirt, a dark brown skirt, a brown jacket, white tights, Nancy's necklace from her 2007 counterpart and red sneakers. Not exactly what I had in mind for the bottoms, most specifically the tights since the game has no leggings, so I just went with the tights and sneakers cause the sneakers make Angelica/me look more casual. Also, I like the jacket. It has a smaller version of the magnifying glass that's on the dress Nancy's 2007 counterpart wore on the collar. The jacket's perfect for when Angelica/I investigate/s a mystery in a place where it happened isn't way too serious. Probably like California in the world of the 2007 Nancy Drew film more or less.

I'm doing okay mentally, I think. Just making sure my negativity isn't getting to me again at the moment. I hope my birthday this year will be much better than what I'll be expecting when I go out. While I have that in mind, I might as well continue my new story. Its progress right now is somewhere between the first quarter of its first chapter and the first half of it with exactly 4000 words. That makes almost 15 minutes on the reading time when I checked the chapter's grammars on the word counter. Guess I'll be able to finish writing the chapter on time before my birthday.
