November's free public update of my visual novel, Penlight, dropped today. Among the new content is a couple of new CGs, and shown here is a frame from one of them that I've been using to promote the update. It's pretty representative of your average hypnosis scene in the game, with a basic light effect (the titular penlight) moving back and forth across the subject's face, which reacts over time as they slowly drop into a trance for the protagonist, for good or ill.

If you don't already know, Penlight is a work-in-progress, R-rated story about hypnosis, consent and basic morality, set in a Japanese(ish) high school.
