Here's Nanami, from "Revolutionary Girl Utena," at a little cafe. This was a commissioned piece for a guy I met at Anime North last year. It's watercolours and ink on paper.Related content

True Nanami fans, like myself even, are few and far between to find. Still, when art like this pops up, it does justice to people who dig the obsessive rich girl.

Thank you very much for the fave, and for the comment! I love her character in relation to Utena -- in any other shoujo series, she'd be the villain. But in Utena she's pretty much a victim. How cool is that!

Aye, the colors definitely work here, yet the eyes seem a little off (shojo manga quirk? Aries notices this constantly in stuff like Utena...), and the anatomy on the right forearm doesn't seem like your usual devoted attention to it at all. One of your off days?
