Angela...............I like this photo.............it gives the idea of the dog running very fast.
However, unfortunately everything but the dog has got 'side-ligned.'
Pull the 'highlights Up on the dog more and add a few more highlights to the plants.
The lake or river bothers me because it is important...........why is the dog running towards it?
Is it because he has seen some ducks or birds?
Highlight the blues in the lake, EVEN if you have to add some Extra highlights.
I am going with the dog..............to what?

actaully the lake isn't anywhere near where the dog is running what you see is just the frost on the ground which is in the shade and down an incline. Capturing a picture of M isn't the easiest task you never know where she is going. She lives on 17 archers and loves to run through them. Up and down the hills around the house. This is a old drive way that you can use to bring the boats up from the lake.
When I get time I will try to do some highlighting. I really never edit my pictures much more than the cropping them and a slight curve here and their. I really need to learn how to do Photoshop. I have always until recently thought of any edits as not photography but as a photo-manipulation. But as of recently I have come to the conclusion that most photographers do edit their images.
Thank you for the time and the feedback I will keep it and when I get time the images you have given me feed back will be the first I play with in Photoshop.

I'm sorry you got declined for this very awesome picture. I personally think it is an awesome shot. Everything that should stand out stands out especially the angle at which it was taken and the fact that the dog is running at a very fast pace. What is even more interesting, is the fact that the dew shows so perfectly on this picture as the dog is running. I see nothing wrong with it and can only add that some groups are full of bullshit! This is of course my opinion.

Exactly and on the floor and the bush to the left.It may need just a little editing to bring out the light a little.But other than that it is and awesome shot!

It is quite simple if you have the software.If you need any help I will be only too happy.There are also many tutorials on youtube and here as well. Enjoy editing hun,you will be amazed once you have completed something that you photographed and edited,the end result is always rewarding..
